The Trump coup is in full swing even though the corporate media doesn’t take notice of the trend. They still, especially FOX and CBS, cannot use the word “fascism” to describe what ICE is doing.
Here is what’s happening daily*.
All of this will soon be coming to your city, whether you want it or not. Trump has three more miserable years to implement his insane, sadistic vision, enabled by his co-criminals, MAGA theorists, and wealthy people who never want to pay taxes or be held accountable for abusing workers and the environment.
Here is the scenario:
1. The total breakdown of any meaningful system of accountability for federal officials.
2. The combination of Trump’s Jan. 6 pardons that effectively created his own army of Brownshirts and other criminal thugs who are not MAGA-inspired, overpaid with federal money, and don’t face criminal prosecutions for attacking and killing people in their homes and in the streets. This happened before in the 1960s when Nixon and Reagan declared war on politicized Blacks and Chicanos. 3. Trump’s continuous campaign of pardoning friends, contributors, like-minded criminals, fraudsters, and female abusers, and allies.
3. Trump’s politicized prosecutions of people whom he thinks “offended” him or did not kowtow to his insane demands.
4. Trump’s administration’s assurances that federal officers have immunity are creating a new legal reality in the United States.
5. The federal government is becoming functionally lawless, and the legal system is struggling to contain Trump’s corruption.
