BECU is a member-owned, not-for-profit credit union. Our members’ needs are our top priority. Setting up a credit union membership is easy.  Follow this two-step process:

Step 1: Gather Identification Documents

  • Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number.
  • Valid U.S. government-issued ID such as a driver’s license or state-issued ID.
  • Contact information, such as a street address and phone number. You may be asked to verify your address with a utility bill or other proof of address.
