Fraud is Trump’s favorite crime since it destabilizes society, ruins business and personal relations, cheats innocent people, and is a sadistic way of making money.
Fraud is the preferred crime of MAGA white-collar supporters, and it is being used every day to loot federal and private money from unsuspecting taxpayers and customers.
It’s also not surprising that Florida, the state where Trump lives, is the fraud capital of the US.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has a cozy relationship with insurers, so the administration has shrugged off consumers’ complaints about insurance fraud, as well as fraud involving identity, Medicare, crypto, Medicaid, construction, hurricane, auto, elder, and consumer fraud.
Worse, Trump’s followers are teaching Trump’s values to their kids, so we will have a new generation of sociopaths to contend with.
This should not be a surprise. In Republican Governor Ron DeSantis’ Florida, insurance fraud is another type of business that gets away with in the Sunshine State. Florida is the fraud capital of the U.S., and there is a reason: criminals can come to Florida, pay off the right people, and never get prosecuted. DeSantis is a protege of Donald Trump for a reason: both tolerate criminal business practices.
So, if you are considering buying a house in Florida and other Republican-controlled states in the Southeast that have close relationships with state legislatures, think again—caveat emptor.
Look for MAGA supporters to not pay taxes, cheat in business, defraud customers, and take anything they can from the insurance companies, fellow citizens, and the federal, state, and local governments.
