The president of Ukraine, Vladimir Zalensky, today bravely confronted Donald Trump’s lies about the war in Ukraine and Russia’s invasion while defending his own nation’s interests, as President Donald Trump fumed and lied about the war.
This is the first time anyone, including Republican Congressmen, the U.S. press, and Trump’s Cabinet, has ever confronted Trump. It marks a beginning that some people with guts are willing to stand up to Trump’s thuggery.
Zalensky corrected Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance’s blatant lies made to Zalensky’s face. This was a rare and historic confrontation against the convicted felon and sociopath Trump, and it hopefully marks a new beginning as the press and Congress confront Trump’s continuous lies and defense of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
The conference showed that Trump is a thug, shouting, pointing fingers, and telling Zalensky to beg for more aid. This meeting was a disgrace to America. It shows the world that Trump is unfit for office, mentally unstable, unprepared, and makes his “deals” under duress. 
Trump has been operating like this his whole life. He threatened contractors with lawsuits in his real estate and construction businesses and then paid them a fraction of their bills. He now brings this same gangster behavior into the White House.
Trump supporters will not pay the price as Trump cuts social services, raises taxes, and makes Medicaid, Social Security, and Medicare less available than under the Biden administration. Trump supporters deserve the reduced services. They voted for a convicted felon, sociopath, and someone who wants to dismantle the US government and loot it for hundreds of billions.
This is the mentally unstable man Americans voted into office. It will get worse from here.
