Can Being a Hate-Filled Trump Supporter Alter Your Appearance?

A popular song by the Jefferson Airplane, “Pretty As You Feel,” has merit for people interested in cosmetic appeals, especially as it links personal emotions to external appearance.

The first phrase of the song says:

“You’re only pretty as you feelOnly pretty as you feel insideYou’re only pretty as you feelJust as pretty as you feel inside.”

This raises an interesting question:

If your emotions are positive and you “ feel pretty,” does that affect your external appearance?

Conversely, if you have so much pent-up anger and hate inside, does that also affect your appearance?

In summary, can a person’s internal emotions shape how they look?

Scientists should ask this question, but ordinary people can examine some of Trump’s biggest supporters and apologists to see if this observation has any merit.

Let’s start with Steven Miller, who boasts that he has worked in Trump’s White House as an advisor and held other posts in an anti-immigration group since Trump left office.  In a dramatic display of mental instability and hatred, Miller told MSNBC interviewer Ari Melber that Biden and Harris are the biggest human sex traffickers in the world.”

This is a common and ridiculous statement from the Trump MAGA crowd, and Miller is one of the biggest propagandists for these QAnon claims. Anyone interested in abnormal psychology and propaganda techniques should also see this interview to see how Miller acts and rose to become one of Trump’s top advisors.

Miller is also a great example of whether the “You’re Only As Pretty As You Feel” effect works in the Trump MAGA world.

While this is not a journalistically accepted method of investigation—looking at people’s appearances and making judgments—the Trump MAGA world has lowered the bar on making these comparisons.

This approach supports the popular outlook that the MAGA-Trump political followers are weird.  What makes them weird or odd compared to others may also have affected their physical appearance.

A look at Trump’s biggest supporters, who readily promote lies and attacks on others, may support this hypothesis.

Look at the following photos and see if these Trump supporters are either “old before their time,” “weathered,” “hate-filled,” or “aggressive.”

Steven Miller, a Happy Guy

Miller is a Trump propagandist.  He is anti-immigration, and when Trump left office, he founded the America First Legal Foundation, a conservative legal organization. Miller has an “ideological kinship” with former White House chief strategist and Breitbart News co-founder Steve Bannon and had a “long collaboration” with him.  In this video, Miller is fully agitated as he rants about anti-immigration policies and how Trump doesn’t know anything about the controversial Project 2025.
